Looking for a challenge this summer? Join us at the Northstowe Festival of Running on 29 August—we’re delighted to be the charity partner for this fantastic local event.
With a friendly, inclusive atmosphere, it’s perfect whether you’re lacing up for your first run or aiming for a new personal best. Choose from a 5K, 10K or half marathon and be part of something special.
Run for Free – Fundraise for Families
We have a limited number of free charity places available. All we ask is that you commit to fundraising:
£50 for the 5K
£100 for the 10K
£200 for the half marathon
Your efforts will help us continue supporting children and families facing complex challenges—helping them feel safe, supported and able to flourish.

Each runner commits to a £350 fundraising target, and there is a £60 deposit to secure your place (this helps cover the cost of the charity space).

Histon & Impington Open Gardens 2026 - Visit our garden!
Save the Date! Come and explore our therapeutic garden at our headquarters in Histon - also known to locals as the old Infant School - as part of this year’s Histon & Impington Open Gardens. There will be free activities for all ages, and it’s a wonderful opportunity to support a much‑loved community event.
Dozens of gardens across the village will be open on the day, so it’s the perfect chance to make a day of it. We’ll share full details soon — but for now, pop the date in your diary.
We are also delighted to share that Cambridge Acorn Project has been chosen as the benefitting charity for the 2026 Open Gardens.
Volunteers, we need you! We’re also looking for volunteers to help the event committee on the day, including marshalling on the Green and selling programmes. If you’re interested in getting involved, please complete this form.
