Panoramic Support for Children and Families Following Abuse

Please note: we are not accepting new referrals until further notice.

Panoramic Support

We support children and families who have been affected by abuse and neglect and are living in financial hardship. Our Panoramic approach considers the whole context surrounding a child and family in order to put the most appropriate support in place.

Our Panoramic Model follows the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidelines.

After conducting a therapeutic assessment with the child and their family, our therapeutic assessors design a package of meaningful long-term and therapeutic support which may include:

  • Access to long term therapy

  • Enrichment activities

  • Support for parents/carers

  • Working with schools and other organisations

Letting the Future In

Letting The Future In (LTFI) is a therapeutic programme of support for children and young people who have experienced sexual abuse, alongside support for their parents or carers.

LTFI was developed by NSPCC and between 2025–2027 we are working in partnership with them to deliver this programme.

The programme includes:

• Parent / Carer Therapeutic Needs Assessment – 1–2 sessions
• Young Person Assessment – 2–4 sessions
• Therapeutic Intervention for Young Person – Up to 24 sessions (based on need)
• Parent / Carer Psychoeducation & support – Up to 6 sessions
• Sibling Support (where appropriate) – Typically 6–8 sessions

Sessions are delivered outside of school and home environments to ensure a safe and confidential therapeutic space. Our main office is based at Cambridgeshire Music, Histon.

IMPORTANT: For Letting The Future In, an enquiry can be submitted for any child who has experienced sexual abuse, whether they are living in financial hardship or not.

Please note

  • We do not operate in Fenland or Peterborough. If the child/family live in one of those areas, unfortunately, we won't be able to accept the referral. If you would like information about other available services, please do not submit an enquiry for support, instead, email us at info@cambridgeacornproject.org.uk

    We’ll be happy to help.

  • Even if we are unable to accept the referral for support, the family is welcome to visit one of our Community Wellbeing Hubs. These operate during term time only and no appointment is needed.
