Therapeutic Educational Support
Cambridge Acorn Project runs therapeutic programs to support children and young people who have experienced trauma in and around education, these include:
Support outside of school such as Enrichment activities and our Primary Youth Club.
Support for children currently unable to access mainstream education, including Therapeutic Education tutoring, therapeutic education projects, AQA Unit Award Certificates and mindfulness sessions available through our Alternative Education Provision.
Whole school commissioned tailored therapeutic activities, such as our Therapists in Schools programme, therapeutic group work, wellbeing programs and drop in sessions at schools.
We have two main routes to access this service:
a) If you are a school or a professional looking for educational support for a child and have funding allocated for this, please click here.
